To Save a Life

2 weeks ago our church hosted a movie night and invited area teens (junior & senior high school students) to come out for a night of fun, giveaways, concessions, an awesome live band (Briar Cox), and the amazing movie To Save a Life.

The movie is a must-see for every teenager, every parent of a teenager, every friend of a teenager, and certainly anyone who works in any capacity with teenagers!  It deals with all the junk that high school students today have to go through (drinking, sex, drugs, lies, friendships, parents' divorce, suicide, pregnancy, school violence, and I'm sure I'm forgetting more...).  This movie was so well done and I know that in our little corner of the world God is already using it to have a tremendous impact on some of the students at Spring Hill and area schools.

Check out the trailer:

And check it out... I know it's available to rent at Redbox and Netflix.  I promise it's worth your time.

In the upcoming weeks are Sunday night youth group meetings will be dealing with some of the issues this movie presented.  Please join me in our prayer for all the kids that can and will be touched by this.
